With the long anticipation, it was a hunt to find what the give away was going to be - Just Joking - as I am new to the quilting world - well have been quilting for 3 years and only buying what I needed to do my projects or projects that I want to do... I;m thankful for my family, my dearest bloggy friends and that my health issues are not life threatening.
My favourite part of fall is that hot Australian summers are over and we have cool quilty weather around the corner
i read blogs to keep up with what everyone else is doing and it makes me feel involved in the quilting world while I recover from my 4th wrist surgery and can do little actual quilting.
We don't celebrate halloween so I wont be dressing up.

Besides Family and Good Health, I am so thankful (and LUCKY) that I live in the same town as my three grandchildren. So many of my friends have grandchildren far away, other countries even, so I cherish my quick visits with my little ones.
Dressing up for Halloween - NO WAY! This is actually my least favourite holiday time and I never ever liked dressing up......
My favourite part of Fall is the changing colours of the trees. We are lucky to live in an area with LOTS of trees, so we enjoy it very much.

I will be dressing up for Halloween about seven times... at the library where I work we get a dress-up day each Friday leading up to Halloween, once the Saturday before Halloween for handing out treats to kids, and then of course on Halloween... For my "real" Halloween costume I'm recycling my "Literary Character" Friday costume, dragon captain Jane Roland. She's a character from one of my favorite book series (by Naomi Novik).

I'd like to dress up as a Christmas tree this year. My cousin did it last year and it's so cute. Wrap garland and lights and ornaments on yourself. Stand by a plug and plug in the lights. CUTE!!
I am thankful for my family. My daughter had a baby in July and it's so scary when you can't do anything but watch. She had to have surgery, but everything came out fine and we have our daughter healthy and a new healthy grandson.
